RULES OF VISITING THE CONSULAR SECTION

Consular Section working hours: Tuesday – Thursday, 10 AM – 1PM

Documents can be collected on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the  the Republic of Ghana requests all applicants to schedule their visit  through an electronic appointment system at q.midpass.ru

It is recommended to arrive at the appointment 5 minutes before the appointed time (not earlier). Late arrivals will not be admitted.

Submission of documents is carried out by the applicant in person or through an authorized representative acting on the basis of a power of attorney certified by a notary in the Russian Federation or a Russian consular official abroad.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Ghana issues visas of all categories to Ghanaian citizens, as well as to citizens of other countries and stateless persons who have a residence permit confirming their right to permanent residence in the Republic of Ghana. Providing proof of your right to permanently reside in Ghana is a prerequisite for obtaining a visa. 

Persons who do not have documents confirming the right to reside in Ghana are recommended to apply for visas at Russian consular offices in their countries of nationality.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Ghana does not cooperate with commercial organizations/persons on the issue of assistance in making appointments.

In case you are offered paid services to assist you in making an appointment at the Consular Section, referring to alleged agreements or arrangements with the Russian Embassy in Ghana, we kindly ask you to provide the contact details of these persons to the e-mail address [email protected] in order to take the necessary measures and subsequent transfer of information to the Ghanaian and Russian law enforcement authorities.
